I wanted to do a quick blog post on how to wear vintage clothing with modern clothing together so you look feminine, effortless, and timeless! Not so long ago I came across a vintage photo for British Vogue from the 1980s and it was a woman wearing a beautiful sage green off shoulder dress with little puff sleeves and a large sash. Then a little while later I found a dress on Pinterest, almost the same dress done by Mara Hoffman I think back in 2016 and I just thought...oh someday, I would love this dress for myself! Unfortunately, I do not have the deep pockets to afford Mara Hoffman, but the essence of that vintage photo and the dress I saw on Pinterest lingered...

There are other ways to wear a cardigan or sweater other than throwing an oversized sweater on top of jeans or leggings. I recently came across a thread on a Reddit forum where a woman was asking how to make her wardrobe more feminine as she's more of a jeans and tee kind of girl.  I suggested that if she was used to wearing jeans and a top, try replacing some of her jeans with an a-line midi skirt. A-line skirts are very flattering on a woman's figure as it usually highlights your waist and has a gentle silhouette. Fuller skirts can be too voluminous and pencil skirts can hug in the wrong places and mini skirts, well...some are just too short for comfort....
